this FRESHLY BODY-OFF RESTORED 1966 Corvette 427/390hp Coupe is one
of just *66* 1966 Corvettes built with the optional 36 gallon fuel
tank, and is in particularly nice condition with many features
rarely found on "Big Tank" cars, including power steering, power
brakes, knockoff style wheels, and a teakwood steering wheel! This
car was originally sold in Higgins, Texas, and is registered in the
Big Tank Survey. Five 1965-67 "Big Tank" cars sold at Mecum Indy
2018, ranging in price from $368,000-$418,000, making this car an
incredible value! Although it has not been flight judged, this car
would likely score very high with very minimal work. Odometer was
zeroed out at the time of this car's restoration, and now shows
just 56 miles. This car's paint is good-vg, with a great shine.
Chrome bumpers show a vg-exc finish, taillights are vg, and
weatherstripping is vg-exc. Knockoff style wheels are vg-exc as
well, as are the associated spinners. Firestone Super Sports
goldline bias-ply tires show an average of 10/32nds tread depth
remaining. The interior of this 1966 Corvette 427/390hp shows exc
seats, glovebox lid, gauges, steering wheel, GM seatbelts, and door

engine in this car shows original casting date August 27, 1965, and
