Vehicle Description
This 1953 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup is the rare 5 Window and was frame
off restored around 4 years ago. It started out as a solid Texas
truck before coming to Michigan where it was restored and then
driven in the summers and stored in the winters. Everything was
rebuilt or replaced at the time of the restoration and the truck
still shows beautifully with only some normal minor wear and tear
from driving over the years. They restored this truck to Stock
Specs so it still has the original 216 Straight 6 Engine and 3
Speed manual Transmission. It was painted Madeira Maroon which is a
1953 Chevy Color and the paint looks excellent! The body panels are
all straight and the paint still shines. The Interior was also
redone and looks fantastic with no signs of any major wear and
tear.
When we drove this truck it was a pleasure to drive. The engine
runs smooth and has good power and the truck drove down the road
straight with no annoying rattles. Steering was tight and brakes
stopped excellent. All of the lights were working and even the
wipers. This is a truck you can take to local shows, drive around
town, and get in and have fun!!! We hand pick each vehicle, drive
it, inspect it, and make sure it is ready for you to enjoy! We
drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives.
