We are pleased to offer a lovely early TR6. Cars prior to 1973 had much higher performance, due to the fact their compression was higher and they were less laden with emission controls, also being prior to the large rubber bumpers, and all the other restrictions forced by the federal laws of America. These pre-73 cars are as they were originally designed with an extremely masculine body and a sound that returns you to the 70’s when you used to say, “I want one of those!” We are very pleased to be able to finally make your dream come true.
This two owner car has been extremely well preserved. One re-spray done several years ago, but still wearing its original wool carpets, seats, and panels. The car has had an engine rebuild prior to our ownership, and runs and drives fantastic. No repairs done to the trailing arms, very, very solid, with its proper gauges, steering wheel, etc. The car was fitted from painted wire wheels to chrome wire wheels sometime in the last 10 years. Oil pressure is proper, no overheating, car shifts and stops nicely with a soft clutch, very positive steering, and a properly presented engine bay. Also still wearing the very rare front and rear Amco overriders, and a chrome Amco factory trunk luggage rack. Finished in Jasmine yellow over black Amblia interior. We just installed a $700 factory correct black top with zip out windows and reflective stripes, and performed a thorough service and inspection of the car.
