Description:
This is such a unique and rare piece. The Javelin was the only Muscle Car produced by American Motor company. Powered by a 40ci motor it really scoots. It will melt both tires when you lay the hammer down. The overall condition of this piece is very nice. We are very excited to offer this AMC to the public. This is a solid original sheet metal car.
Interior:
The interior is in great shape. No foul odors and all the gauges work as they should (Even the clock). The Seats feel great and all the door cards are in great condition. The inner dash shows some cracking which you can find in our gallery. The headliner is in great shape, and the rear seats are comfy too! Center shift feels great and all the controls are airplane inspired switches. When you get in this Javelin put your jet fighter helmet on, because you are about to get some attention.
Exterior:
Body lines are straight and the paint shows very well, the chrome and bright work show very well. This is a solid body with no rust. Please take a moment to view our video. We walk around the whole car and throw It on a lift. All the lights work as they should. Overall a very sorted car. The tires have around 70% tread and the wheels are in excellent condition. All the lights operate as they should as do the signal markers. It is ready for a road trip.
Drivetrain:
The motor and transmission feel great. Power steering / Power brakes / Posi Traction. It runs and drives like new. The suspension feels great and there are no issues I can find. Surprisingly it is very dry underneath and looks to have never seen the elements. No undercoating. Trans is strong, Motor does not smoke or hesitate. Overall a great car, and can be driven anywhere.
