your attention to the classic dash finished in matte orange. And
just like the exterior, this has some nice upgrades. That's why you
get a Grant sports steering wheel and a full set of Dolphin gauges
that fit into the factory dual round openings. And don't you just
love how the readouts have black faces with orange needles? It all
tells you this was a thoughtfully coordinated custom build.
While these post-war GMC came with enough power to get the job
done, it's great to see it upgraded under the hood. The 350
cubic-inch V8 provides plenty of power, and it even has a subtle
continuation of the color theme as the orange firewall Is against
elements like the painted black air topper and valve covers. This
V8 upgrade inhales deeply through a four-barrel carburetor, which
also helps give a nice rumble to the dual exhaust. And this is an
easy cruising custom pickup thanks to a ton of upgrades like the
independent front suspension, power steering, three-speed automatic
transmission, front disc brakes, and modern Pirelli tires.
