Vehicle Description
It doesn't get any better than the look of an old Task Force
pickup, does it? Well,... it can. If you take those classic good
looks, drop 'em down low, polish 'em up high, and fill 'em up with
modern technology like 20" rims.
The Black paint on this truck look absolutely fantastic! It is the
kind of show quality paint job that only comes from hours and hours
of expert preparation before the paint is sprayed on and then
worked to a mirror like shine. It highlights every graceful curve
and crease of the body by bending and reflecting the light from
every angle. Complimenting that look is copious amounts of chrome
dressing out the front of the truck. The nose of the hood has an
accent with a Chevy bowtie sitting just over a toothy chrome grill
that looks like its ready to eat anything that gets in its way.
There are 3100 Chevrolet badges on the fenders shiny new bumpers
front and rear. Drop the tailgate and you will see that the wood
and details in the bed have also been finished to out to a show
winning shine. Set all that shine on chrome 20-inch Ridler wheels,
and now, the look really doesn't get any better.
While it is hard to follow up first impressions like that, we
promise you won't be disappointed. Open up the door and you will
find an interior that is as equally impressive as the body, but in
a very different way. The door panel is simple and clean, but some
Blue piping is a clue that it's not stock '57 inside. Slide into
those late model leather seats and settle in for a minute. They are
power adjustable, heated and super comfortable. Reach out and wrap
your hands around the billet steering wheel with a bowtie center
button. Behind it is a digital dash nestled into the original stock
wedge shape. It has the display in the center with carbon fiber
backing up the sweep tach and speedo along with smaller engine
gauges off to the sides. Heating and ventilation controls include
those for the Vintage Air and there is a center console with cup
holders and an armrest for comfortable cruising.
When you raise the hood, get ready for another treat. There you
will find a healthy 350 cubic inch engine with chrome and polished
billet everywhere nestled down in an engine bay that is as nicely
detailed out as the rest of the body. A ribbed air topper matches
the valve covers with both of them painted black with polished
ribs. There is a QFT Slayer 4-barrel carburetor and polished intake
manifold handling the intake duties while long tube headers lead
out to the Flowmaster exhaust. The alternator and A/C compressor
are chromed and their billet mounts are polished to a high shine.
An aluminum radiator ensures that everything stays running cool and
power flows back through a 4-speed automatic transmission. If, (or
when) you show this truck, you may want to bring some mirrors so
you can show off the first-class chassis work too. There is a coil
over suspension all around with rack and pinion steering up front,
multi-links in the rear, and Wilwood disc brakes at all four
corners. There is also a polished transmission pan, fuel tank, and
a Trick Flow diff cover.
Paint, looks, and build quality that will turn heads and win shows.
Comfort and convenience that will make you want to drive it. Come
on down and check this truck out. Then take it home and enjoy
either, or both activities.
