Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1976 Triumph TR6 which is beautiful restored condition and is a Factory paint code "85" Java Green TR6. This TR6 has been nicely restored over the years and is ready for show or go. This TR6 features a beautiful paint job in Factory Java Green, A fully restored interior in Factory Black, and a great running original drive line. This TR6 is turn key and is ready for show or go. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Java Green exterior over Black interior. This is the factory color combination as verified on the commission plate pictured above.
Exterior
The Java Green exterior is in excellent restored condition. This TR6 was treated to a recent professional paint job and shows very well in base coat/clear coat Java Green paint. The paint is in excellent condition and has a terrific shine and great gloss and is very smooth to the touch. The body is very solid and the gaps and lines are terrific on this car. There is no bubbling paint or cracked paint and no signs of corrosion or rust anywhere on this TR6. The underside is very solid as well with no visible rust or corrosion. Both bumpers are in great condition and the chrome is shiny. The tires are new and have full tread left and are sized 205/70/15 and the OEM wheels are restored with new trim rings. The convertible top was replaced and is in great condition and has the zip out rear window. All weather stripping and seals are in like new condition and have been replaced. Trunk is very solid and clean with spare tire and jack tools. All glass is factory Triplex XXX original Glass.
Interior
The Black interior of this TR6 is in terrific restored condition. The seat covers were replaced and are in excellent overall condition with no noticeable wear and no seam splits or rips. The seat covers are soft and the seats are very comfortable. The carpet was recently replaced and in excellent condition with no major wear or holes. The door panels are in like great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The wood dash surround is in excellent condition and looks great in the car. The gauges all work and are clear and crisp. The horn, wipers, blower motor, and all lights work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in superb mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. This TR6 pulls very well and runs and drives wonderfully and shifts in and out of gears smoothly. We have driven this TR6 numerous times and it always performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 is an excellent driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. A full new wiring harness has been installed in the engine bay and in the dash which is evident in the photos. The brakes have been serviced with a new master cylinder and rear brake cylinders and they do not pull and stop as they should. The clutch slave cylinder was recently replaced and the car shifts smoothly without issue. A new alternator, new battery, new fuel filter, new spark plug wires and new spark plugs were recently installed. The exhaust has been upgraded to dual performance mufflers and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This TR6 was equipped with AC but it has been removed and does not come with the car.
