Vehicle Description
Custom, unique, and quite affordable, this 1978 Ford F-100 is the
kind of truck you've always dreamed of owning, and it's never been
more obtainable than right now.
They really started with the right place for a custom pickup like
this. Ford's new for 1978 face is part of a rare two-year design,
and the round headlights are even rarer. So it's something that's
always in-demand. The Candy Apple Red Metallic paint they used for
this custom presentation looked so nice that they even applied it
to places like the grille, headlight surrounds, and bumper. It
gives this classic a very modern look, and that continues on plenty
more custom pieces like the flush tailgate, rolled rear pan, and
the clear headlights and taillights. While the red has a terrific
shine all on its own, they also left room for proper American-style
brightwork. You see it in places like the exhaust tips, upgraded
door mirrors, and the large 20-inch Cruiser alloys. This total
presentation is stunning, but you can still use this truck for true
work thanks to the protective liner paint in the bed.
Inside the bright exterior red continues, and now it's joined by a
tasteful black. You see this everywhere, including the dash, doors,
and carpeting. It's so thorough that even the custom seats follow
the two-tone. In fact, this one really feels like something special
thanks to the high-back buckets that are power adjustable and even
have an armrest center console in-between. Plus, there are other
great upgrades like cup holders, a wood & chrome steering wheel,
and an AM/FM/CD stereo that glows as red as the truck's color.
When you look under the hood, you're going to see something
distinct. Rarely do we see the 4.9-liter (300ci) inline six
powerplant anymore, and this is believed to be original to the
truck. In fact, this truck came originally came from the Charlotte
ordering district. So it's hard not to love the extra hint of
originality among all this custom work. They made sure to highlight
the uniqueness of this motor with a huge investment in the engine
bay. The exterior-matching walls have great details like the
painted jack. And even many of the motor's details match the
exterior metallic red! This isn't a speed demon of a motor, but
it's also no slouch (remember, the Mustang is famous for its 302ci
motor.) What this allows for is plenty of torque to get the job
done. Plus, there's an upgraded radiator, a three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes. So this custom
classic is also a great any time cruiser.
Something that looks this nice and is so thoughtfully built is
rarely this affordable. So don't miss your chance, call today!
