Vehicle Description
You're going to want to look over all the details on this 1967
Pontiac Firebird. Because with a big 400ci V8, four-on-the-floor,
suspension upgrades, slick modern paint, an A/C interior, and so
much more - it strikes the ideal balance of performance and
comfort.
There were some shades of gray during this debut year for the
Firebird, but none ever looked as good as this. The modern dark
gray has a deep finish that's a bit intimidating, and at the same
time, it has a great metallic luster that loves the sunshine. So
you can tell they took their time to do this coupe right during the
restoration. With a shine like this, we're glad they also paid
attention to getting the brightwork looking good to match. You see
it in the side trim, wheel arches, and rear bumper. And nothing
beats having a mirror-like finish on that beak-like front bumper
that defines the entire front end. This has some great
period-correct aggression, like the dual hood scoops and full-width
rear spoiler. Plus, you have the addition of Eagle Alloy wheels
with some nice wide rubber in the rear.
The black bucket seat interior looks great when viewed through the
pillarless hardtop profile. It all has the appearance of good care
and quite authentic where it counts. But you can also tell you have
a ton of the right upgrades. This coupe is quite comfortable thanks
to the addition of a cup holder center console and cold-blowing
R134a air conditioning. Plus, this one also is great for
performance thanks to the three-spoke sports steering wheel, power
steering, auxiliary gauge trio, and Hurst shifter.
Just like the rest of this car, when you look under the hood, you
can tell they made some great investments while also retaining the
right originality. That's why you have a proper turquoise block for
the mighty 400 cubic-inch V8. But now it's topped with a dual air
feeder, Edelbrock, four-barrel carburetor, and an Edelbrock Pontiac
Performer intake to really let this motor inhale deeply. Plus, the
Hooker long tube headers add even more power while also helping to
exhale with a thunderous roar. And as you dig deeper into this
engine, you'll see great supporting components like the PowerMaster
alternator and HEI Ignition. There's even a Be Cool aluminum
radiator to keep this one running right on hot days. The drivetrain
package is all about giving you control. That's why you have a
four-speed manual transmission, thick sway bars front & rear, BF
Goodrich gForce tires, and disc brakes up front.
It's great to see a classic Firebird upgraded so nicely while still
keeping what makes these debut-year cars so iconic. This is a great
total package that you don't want to miss, so call today!
