The first year of the third generation 88 and the last year of the single light cars, the 1957 Oldsmobile 88 is a staple of the history of Oldsmobile.
This 88 features the beast of a 277HP, 371CI V8 engine, which ousted the HP numbers of Chevrolet's flagship carbed 283 by more than 55Hp and Fords' 312 by 30+ in 1957. It was a rocket on the road, and a head turner in the parking lot. This car also features an automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and factory wonderbar radio!
The two tone paint is in great shape, and really pops in the sunlight. On all four corners you'll find Coker whitewall tires and flipped chrome wheels with Oldsmobile hub caps. On the trunk you'll also find a pair of 45 degree antennas that were a very popular option.
Inside, the two-tone theme is continued with the matching blue seats and panels and white trim, accented by a a highly chromed dash and blue carpets. The interior is in great condition and is ready to hit the road!
