Built by Fred's Custom Wiring of Ontario, California

The recipient of a gracious restoration by Fred's Custom Wiring of Ontario, California, this icon's panels are coated with a custom blend of silver and green metallic that intrigues your senses. Sprayed as a two-tone, it's better than factory finish glissens over the perfectly aligned and fitted panels. The door handles are of contemporary styling thanks to Corvette designers, and the hood ornament removed to give it an overall smoother look. The side mirrors provide a resto-look but also add safety features with built in amber colored turning signals. Budnik wheels finish the look on all four corners.

Under the hood is where you'll likely need sunglasses for looking at all that beautifully polished chrome, aluminum, and paint. Nestled inside the custom engine bay you'll find a General Motors Performance Parts Ram Jet ZL1 454 that pushes over 510 horses into 493 lb./ft. of impressive torque. The firewall was customized to accommodate the ZL1. The wheel wells are customized as well, which shields the engine bay area nicely. Check out the radiator. The craftsmanship that went into building the shroud around it is amazing.

Under the car is just as impressive. The frame and floor panels are painted exactly as the body. A rugged and trusty 4L80E transmission spins those gears inside the chromed pumpkin to the awaiting carbon fiber axles as the LZ1 pushes exhaust out the large custom diameter exhaust pipes.

Opening the doors reveals a simple yet stylish interior filled with leather that matches the exterior. Centered in the dash above the center console is where the Auto Meter Ultra Lite gauges protrude through canister like tubes. The area surrounding the tubes is illuminated emerald green. Sitting in the custom upholstered and stitched recaro seats is a pleasurable experience. Glancing up at the headliner reveals more custom craftsmanship in the design. It is anything but typical. The same treatment is found across the dash and door panels. Alpine and Panasonic provide the entertainment; however, the thrill comes with driving it.

One last detail we just can't get enough of may surprise you: The gas filler. Sure it's always been kind of cool to get to, but this one is electric, just like a garage door opener. Push a button and the tail light flips upward revealing the gas cap. The invoice build sheet reads 299 hours spent on perfecting this detail!

At the Motor Car Group, we're enthusiasts first. We want you to enjoy your new car from the minute it's delivered and the trailer door drops. Before a car leaves our shop, it's gone through comprehensively, both visually and mechanically. We do more than just kick the tires, though: We road test (if the weather permits us here in Cleveland!) and clean it inside and out.

We're proud of our inventory and do our best in describing each example as accurately as possible. As with all classic cars, it can be difficult to know the true miles and history. Further, what one person sees is a gem, another person might not. So before making an investment, we encourage you to hire the services of a private inspector for a third party opinion. After all, we want you to be happy with your car for years to come!

No matter where you'd like your car shipped to, let us make the arrangements. We've ship cars all over the world. Delivering your new ride in enclosed carrier is nothing new for us. We'd be honored to arrange all the logistics for you! Every car we sell, from Sunday drivers through the rarest exotics, is meant to be driven-get out there!

If you have any questions before, during or after the sale, do not hesitate to contact us. It's what we're here for! Call us at (440) 914-0000, write us at [email protected] or stop by and see the new shop at 6441 Davis Industrial Parkway, Solon OH 44139. We're 26 miles from Cleveland Hopkins Airport and we can pick you up when you come to inspect or purchase your car.

We welcome any prospective buyers, their buyer's agents or inspectors from Monday through Friday during business hours, as well as evenings and weekends by appointment. We're car people who love what we do, and you'll feel it from the first time you contact us. Give the R&H crew the opportunity to serve you: Our passion and attention to detail set us apart!
