THE STORY BEHIND THIS 1931 FORD MODEL A PICKUP CONVERTIBLE
About 6 months ago, I took an extremely high quality 1936 Ford 5 Window Coupe in trade from a wonderful gentleman in South Florida who has now become a very good friend. He loves cars and recently noticed a beautiful 1958 Chevy Yeoman that we had listed ... and ... called and offered me this Incredible Custom 1931 Ford Model A Pickup Convertible. Since the '36 Ford was such a great experience ... and ... since I have always loved Old Ford Pickups, I jumped at the opportunity to work a trade with my new South Florida friend. Also ... since he was not that far from our new "FSD HOT ROD RANCH", my shipper Keith and I decided to personally deliver the '58 Chevy and pick up the '31 Ford.
WOW ... were we pleased when we arrived at my new friend's home and examined (Close Up) this Beautiful '31 Ford Pickup Convertible. This has to be the most usable ... and ... drivable Model A Pickup I have ever owned. The builder arranged the cockpit in such a manner to make it comfortable for even a big guy (I am 6' 2" and over 265 lbs) to drive.
Also ...The engineering of the Powertrain, Steering and Suspension work perfectly, and my adult children and I have put over 500 miles on it since I picked it up. This Pickup can easily be a ... Daily Driver.
And ... Just to make it even more BEAUTIFUL, we commissioned renowned Daytona, Florida Pinstriping Artist, Mikey Ayers to do period correct Pinstriping designs front to rear.
