Vehicle Description
This 1964 Chevrolet Bel Air has a great classic style, but once you
turn the key, the true beast of this sleeper awakes. With a
fuel-injected 502ci motor, six-speed manual, upgraded suspension,
A/C interior, and so much more, you're looking at a classic that
doesn't know how to contain its awesomeness.
This is a very desirable generation for the full-sized Bel Air.
Blocky styling gave this a real presence on the streets, and the
sleek full-length details in the sheet metal go perfect with this
unique car's speedy upgrade. While this one is all about being
incognito, you can tell this is something special in the details.
The full-length red pinstriping and Rally wheels are upgrades with
true appeal. And we love the little things like the bow tie emblems
in the taillights.
The red pinstripe outside was also a nice preview of the full red
interior. This car was restored in 2016 and only about 5,500 miles
put on it since then, so everything still feels nice and fresh. The
two tones of red on the wide bench seats and door panels not only
look good, but they seem to combine for the color in the carpeting.
So this is a very thoughtful total package. As a full-sized
machine, there's plenty of room for family and friends. They get to
stay comfortable with everything from an AM/FM/CD stereo to
ice-cold R134a air conditioning. But you also know this is a
driver's machine at its heart. You get the upgraded three-spoke
Chevy sports steering wheel. Beyond that, the dash is dominated by
the blue glow of the Dakota Digital gauges. It includes a tach,
which is handy with the stick shift that feels like it's calling
out to your right hand.
When you lift the hood, the tidy engine bay once again reminds you
how fresh this build is. But what really grabs your attention is
how stuffed it is with power. Just the sight of GM Performance's
502 cubic-inch crate V8 with Ram Jet fuel injection should make
most muscle car fans weak in the knees. And that's not all. This
also has aluminum heads and a set of long tube headers that add
even more power as they feed the thunderous dual exhaust. We bet it
has been a while since you've seen a '60s machine that gives you
the kind of complete control that the Richmond six-speed manual
transmission gives you in this one. Because this classic is now a
big power machine, you also have Hotchkis sway bars front and
rear.
This is a cool classic with a huge wow factor. It's the restored
street machine of your dreams, and all you need to do to make it a
reality is call today!
