Just Toys Classic Cars is very proud to present one of the nicest
looking Cobra tribute cars out there today. This is a factory five
kit that is titled as a 2004 but it is a tribute to the 1965 Shelby
Cobra's that ruled the streets and the race tracks of the day. This
car is put together so well, you would swear it was the real thing.
The fit and finish on this car is second to none. The British
Racing Green paint is absolutely miles deep, and the white stripes
just set the car off to give it that perfect racing look. The
stripes are the way that they would have been back in the day. They
are very high quality, but they are not under the clear coat. Also,
so you can drive this sweet ride without scratching the heck out of
the paint, there is a ton of the clear 3M coating in all the places
that attract rocks and road grime.
Now, that this car has just sucked you in, you just HAVE to get in
it. Pull the lever inside the door and get ready to transport
yourself back to the 60's and feel like you are getting ready to
run Daytona or Sebring. Get yourself good and comfortable in those
seats that just hug you in right and tight and get strapped up.
Take a look over all of your gauges, and reach in the center to
your right and turn the key on, and just get ready to have the time
of your life. Now that you are all strapped in and turned the key
on, reach up and hit that red toggle switch to make things hot, and
then reach to your left and hit that ignition button and listen to
this baby come to life.
Under the hood of this monster sits a 302 that has been stroked
.030 to a 306. All the internals have been done as well. The
rotating assembly is from Scat with long connecting rods, and a
forged steel crank. The roller cam is from Crower, do not know the
cam specs. The heads as you will see in the pics are AFR 185's with
stud girdles on the mains. All of the internals are balanced, the
block has been trued, and the heads have been decked to 10.5 to 1
compression. The transmission is brand new as well.
So, what you see on the odometer is all that is on this car. Now,
what does all of the above mean to you? It means that you can
cruise in this car, or you and a buddy can get in, sit down, shut
up, and hang on. This car is one cool piece that you would be proud
to own and the price is more than right. You see these cars go in
the 60k range all day long. So jump on this one while you can.
