Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this beautiful 1969
Mercury Cougar convertible for sale in their Indianapolis showroom.
First introduced in 1967 as an alternative to its sister car the
Ford Mustang, the Cougar quickly became a favorite among the pony
car crazed public. Styled with a European flair, and offering such
unique features to the segment as concealed headlamps, sequential
rear turn indicators, and a faux wood interior trim, the Cougar
appealed to a customer looking for a little sport, and a little
luxury. This Cougar is finished in a beautiful black paint, with a
newer black vinyl interior and power white convertible top. Factory
equipment includes; AM/FM 8-Track, power convertible top, power
steering and brakes, rally wheels, and raised white letter tires.
Powered by Ford's tried and true 351 V8 mated to a three-speed
automatic, this Cougar purrs like a pretty kitty. The odometer
reads 85,473 miles and they are reported to be original and
accurate. Be sure to visit our webpage at
