European Motor Studio is excited to offer this beautiful 1978 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II Saloon finished in Acrylic White over Tan Connolly leather with Brown piping and dark Tan carpets. This beautifully kept Silver Shadow has traveled a mere 32,500 miles since new and is in remarkably original condition. The Acrylic White paint appears to be original and in beautiful condition. After a detailed buff and polish, the lacquer paint has a very deep luster and shine showing only minor stone chips to the front nose and a small touch up to the body trim above the rear bumper. All of the glass appears original and in excellent condition along with all of the chrome and rubber trim (rear window rubber shows some cracking). The Tan Connelly leather interior is in excellent condition showing minor creasing on the driver seat bolster. The rest of the leather is in outstanding shape for its age. The leather dash top looks excellent and is free from shrinkage or damage. All of the wood is in very nice shape with a couple small cracks to the driver door rail. The Rolls Royce built 6.75 liter eight cylinder engine starts right up and is incredibly smooth whether cold or hot. The car is free from any smoking under start up or acceleration and the transmission is very smooth shifting into gears with ease. The engine is quick under acceleration and drives with ease. The suspension is very nice and solid free from any thumping on the road or over any bumps. The steering is nice and tight as it should, free from any looseness or extra play. The brakes have an excellent feel to them free from any fading. All of the electronics on the car are operating as they should (except the power antenna) including all of the power windows, which move quickly and quietly, the child lock for the windows, all of the door locks, the power seats, cruise control, windshield wipers and all of the interior and exterior lights. The AC is ice cold with a brand new compressor and working on both fan speeds. Accompanying the sale of this Silver Shadow are all of the original owners handbooks and service booklets with their original pouch and the original jack in the original bag and the original 8 Track player. This is an outstanding example of the Rolls Royce Shadow II showing excellent care and maintenance since new.
