The 454 engine is beefed up with an Edelbrock intake and Holley
4-barrel carburetor. Hedman headers route the exhaust gases through
true dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers that end before the rear
axle. It sounds phenomenal! The engine is clean and shows very
well. It has been topped off with a chrome air cleaner and chrome
Moroso oil breather for a bit of flare. A Howe aluminum radiator
keeps this big block cool with the help of dual electric fans. A
Turbo 400 automatic transmission routes the power through a 12-bolt
rear end. Power steering and power front disc brakes make this
truck a great cruiser that is easy to handle.
Interior
A blue vinyl bench seat with seat belts is comfortable for you and
two passengers. A B&M shifter on the floor keeps you firmly in
control, while added gauges let you monitor the engine. A big Sun
SuperTach II is mounted on the steering column and a Bosch gauge
cluster is mounted below the dash. The chrome glovebox door is a
nice touch, as is the Alpine AM/FM/CD player with Polk speakers to
crank your favorite tunes.
Exterior
We have to start with the color of this C10. It is a beautiful Dark
Blue Metallic that really fits it well. It has checkered flag
decals down the side that can be removed if they are not your
style. Big Ridler aluminum alloy wheels are wrapped in radial tires
and bring this truck into the 21st Century. The tailgate is
smoothed and the grill has been changed over to the more popular
Chevrolet variety. A soft tonneau cover is a nice addition to keep
your cargo safe and dry and easily lifts up to access the bed.
