The Firebird and Trans Am are American legends in the muscle car
community and the Firehawk is their bad ass adopted brother.
Why This Car Is Special
One of only 201 built in 1993, this car is heavily altered by SLP
and has only 6,069 actual miles! This fine example is a 2 owner
car!
Mechanical
0-60 in 4.9 seconds and completing the mile in 13.53 seconds at
103.5 MPH says it all. The 5.7-liter V8 engine puts down 300
horsepower and 330 lb. ft of torque get this car going in a hurry.
SLP (Street Legal Performance) took an already stout Firebird and
recalibrated the fuel management system, added SLP Loudmouth
stainless steel exhaust with tuned headers, 3.73 gear ratio and a
6-speed manual transmission. Only 105 were produced with the manual
transmission. Ignition system has been upgraded to MSD plug wires
and the Opti Sport distributor!
Interior
The Beige leather interior is like new and looks great against the
Bright Red paint. Bucket seats, power windows, power locks, cold
blowing A/C and an AM/FM/Cassette came on this car from the
factory. The interior also features Commemorative Plaque that lists
the build number. This car is #70 of 201 built.
Exterior
The exterior is essentially Firebird with some SLP goodies. Those
include a lightweight composite hood with functional cold air
induction package that utilizes a Corvette air cleaner assembly.
Firehawk graphics are subtle but let everyone know this car is
something special. 17x8.5 aluminum alloy wheels are wrapped in
275/40/ZR17 radial tires. From the long hood line to the induction
hood and rear spoiler, this car is pure muscle.
Conclusion
This car is powerful, collectible and in like new condition inside
and out. It is very well documented with a binder including the SLP
paperwork, original window sticker and more.
