Vehicle Description
1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible / Original 326ci engine, 4bbl
carburetor, 250hp FMC is proud to offer another rarely seen Pontiac
classic. This Firebird is in excellent condition in every respect.
Its smooth running 326 engine has exceptional power and
performance. The original engine was rebuilt several years back.
The rebuilt is quite obvious when you get in and go. Passing gear
is impressive! She starts right up and shifts smoothly. It was
originally a 2bbl car and was upgraded to a 4bbl at some point
unknown to us. PHS documentation verifies this information. All
body panels are original and the entire car is 100% rust free and
always has been. There is no evidence that this car has ever been
hit or even tapped. For Pontiac fans out there, all 4 salt shakers
are still in the corners as evidence of its originality and purity.
It had undergone a really nice repaint in its original color of
Regimental Red (color code R) several years ago. The paint shines
beautifully as you can clearly see by the photos but there are a
few chips that have occurred over time as well. They are also shown
in the photos. All chrome and trim are like new. The interior looks
to be all original and is incredible condition. There are no seat
tares, no dash pad cracks and the dash itself and center console
look great. Even the door panels are original. Everything works as
it should including all lights, speedometer and gauges. The radio
is a replacement but the replacement itself is a classic from the
70s.... The New White Power Top works perfectly. Factory equipped
with power steering and power brakes. Brakes are close to new as
are the tires. Factory Rallye II rims are still on the car and look
great. The trunk is clean as can be with no rust ever, same as the
undercarriage. This is a real get-in & go, first year Firebird with
all the right stuff and nothing needed offered at a very reasonable
price. Call us or come take a look at FMC.
