Vehicle Description
Introduced in 1955, Chevrolet's new 'Task Force' series of trucks
was quite a departure from their existing line of pickups. Smooth,
rounded sheet-metal replaced the old-style fenders, and large,
wrap-around windshield glass offered better visibility and a more
contemporary look. 1957 began the third-year for Task Force pickups
and received a distinctive new grille that would be a one-year
feature only!
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this excellent 1957 3100 for
your consideration. Having been with its current owner for the last
seven years, this classic Chevy has been fully restored and
modified and features a rebuilt 350cid V8 mated to a Turbo 400
automatic transmission. The truck also features power steering and
and updated and modernized interior that has a newer bench seat as
well as Vintage Air A/C system. It features a wonderful body with
excellent bright red paint. The box was replaced and it features a
nice wood bed floor. Other features include newer wheels and
excellent chrome. The truck also has newer carburetor, manifold,
headers, and electronic ignition.
This truck combines all of the classic style with turn key engine
that is ready for a cruise. The owner says there is less than 1,000
miles on the restoration. The truck is super easy to drive and is a
head turner wherever it goes. It even has four keys!
