Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is excited to offer this 1950
MG TD Roaster. Stored in a dry heated garage since 1991 this MG is
in excellent condition. The older British racing green Paint job is
aged but shows very well as it shines nicely. The chrome is very
nice. There is some pitting on the headlights, but they still look
great. Believed to be a two owner vehicle it runs beautifully and
shifts through the gears smoothly as it should. The current owner
has spared no expense improving the drivability of this little
roadster. Taking care of all the little things that happen over the
years and can be neglected. The convertible top is in excellent
period condition with a clear back window. Side curtains are also
included. They are not new, they are functional. The wooden dash is
in excellent condition as is the aftermarket wood steering wheel.
The wonderful thing about old cars is that they take you someplace
else other than where you are going. They can take you back to a
time and place that are no more. This MG does that as well as any
little old British roadster. Take a ride down a winding country
road and you will be moved to the countryside just outside of
London. You might even catch yourself with a little British accent.
