Z06 for your consideration. Finished in a Black exterior with a
Torch Red and Black leather interior. Under the hood is GM's 5.7L
LS6 V8 delivering 405hp (when stock) through a 6-speed manual
transmission. There were some slight modifications made to the
motor including a Livernois Motorsports Stage 2 Camshaft, ARH long
tube headers, Magnaflow exhaust, port factory heads by Katech, C6
Z06 modified short shifter, and upgraded stainless steel brake
lines. As for the interior, there is a Custom leather Double DIN
radio bezel with Aeroforce gauge, JVC touchscreen radio, custom
leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, custom leather shift
boot/door armrests/center console, modified A-pillars with
tweeters, aftermarket front speakers, and a custom sub box with
dual 8" subs. This Z06 has also been fitted with Black C7 style
wheels with a red pinstripe around the edge with Nitto tires
wrapped around them. This Corvette proves it means business once
you hear the Stage 2 Camshaft out the back and really brings out

Starting with the 2002 model year, power was increased to 405 hp at
6000 rpm and 400 lb-ft of torque at 4800 rpm, due to a larger CFM
air intake, stiffer valve springs, lighter sodium filled valves and
more aggressive camshaft lift and timing. The new components added
to the Z06 included: uprated FE4 suspension, larger wheels and
tires, revised gearing ratios, and functional brake cooling ducts.
The Z06 is 38 lb lighter than a standard C5 hardtop thanks to
weight-saving measures such as a titanium exhaust, thinner glass,
lighter wheels, non-EMT tires, reduced soundproofing, fixed rear
radio aerial, and a lighter battery.
