In 1970, the Chevy Nova was in full swing! 1968 saw the
introduction of a restyled model and the second generation of the
Nova, formerly a sub-model of the Chevy II prior to 1969. The Nova
was available in a variety of configurations to attract a much
larger audience. These cars were sold in every configuration
imaginable for just about any use the general public had.
This 1970 Nova is a perfect candidate for a classic daily driver.
It may not be a 100-point show car, but its got a pavement pounding
350ci V8, looks great in the red and black and has the iconic body
lines of the muscle era! Overall, this car is clean inside and out.
The body appears to be very straight, and the red paint is very
striking. The paint looks good even up close, but you will see your
typical flaws that come with a daily driver if you look closely.
All in all, this is a great looking car and you would proudly show
it off at your local cruise in.
The interior is mostly complete and in great driver-quality
condition. the front and rear seats are black vinyl that show
little to no wear although if you look closely they are a different
pattern. Pattern aside, they show well and are in good condition
minus one small tear in the passenger side front seat. There is
some minor wear on the buttons, knobs, and handles as can be
expected for a car of this age. There are no cracks in the
dashboard and it is in great shape. There is no radio, but there is
a radio delete plate in place.
Under the hood sits a crate GM small block V8 with a chrome
dress-up kit installed. The engine and engine bay have been
recently detailed and cleaned up great, showing a well-maintained
and complete engine. Stopping power comes courtesy of power front
brakes are disc brakes, and the rears are power drums. Overall,
this is a nice quality driver for the price and would make someone
an excellent cruiser! If you're looking for an affordable classic,
this may be the car for you.
