Vehicle Description
Extremely rare and desirable #s matching Corvette with factory air
conditioning and a 4-speed in rare Tuxedo black. It has lived in
Texas most of it's life. Ground up restored about 5 years ago.
EXTERIOR: Very rare and desirable factory tuxedo black. The body is
exceptionally nice and straight. The paint is polished to a smooth
glossy finish. There are a few flaws if you look for them. All of
the chrome and trim is excellent. The bumpers, emblems, tail
lights, gas cap, stainless moldings, door handles, mirrors etc. The
correct hubcaps with spinners look new, the rims are painted black.
Radial tires look new. Door jambs are painted glossy, new sill
plates and weather strips. Really sharp car. The coupes are better
looking and more rare then a convertible!
INTERIOR: Restored inside to look new. The carpet front and back is
new. The cushions and upholstery are new. The center console,
armrest cushion, glove box door, steering wheel, headliner, visors,
door panels are new. Both dash pads have been professionally
reupholstered. Gauges were rebuilt. The correct reverse lockout
shifter is new. The jack and wrench is properly stowed. Features
include Am-Fm, floormats, power windows and the owner's manual is
in the glovebox.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has it's VIN number match 327-300 horsepower
motor, runs like a top. Has a nice clean coat of Chevy orange and
all of it's proper components like carburetor, manifolds, valve
covers with the right decals etc. Also has the proper ignition
shielding, dual snorkel air cleaner, radiator, fan and shroud. The
air conditioning system is complete. New cadium plated brake
booster, new master. Has GM hoses and clamps. New wiring harness.
Everything looks proper and clean.
UNDERSIDE: Vin # matched 4-speed trans. # matched 3.36 posi rear.
It is really clean under this car. The raw fiberglass floors have
no damage and are actually very clean. Someone did cut and drop in
2 small storage boxes. The bottom of the motor is still clean Chevy
orange. The trans is clean. Front and rear suspension is rebuilt.
Has gas shocks. New wheel bearings and brakes, e-brake is hooked
up. New exhaust, they told me it is stainless. New complete spare
tire carrier. It looks like a frame off restoration underneath.
This is a really rare and desirable Corvette. Only about 1/3 were
coupes. Only about 8% were black, about 9% had a/c, 10% had power
brakes. How many had all of the above lumped into one?
