BEAUTIFUL RESTORATION, REBUILT ENGINE AND TRANS, NEW
WOOD BED, DRIVES GREAT! This was a father son project for years,
when the father died they sold the truck with just a few small
things left to be done. Take a look at the pictures, video, and

Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Arrow straight body. All of the
bondo was removed from the cab and steel welded body work done to
perfection. New paint and hand painted pin striping adds a nice
touch.
- Interior: Brand new interior includes tweed
seat covers with matching door panels, new kick panels, and new
headliner. Glove compartment door is missing. Original gauges are
present but not all of them are functional.
- Glass/Windows: Drivers side windshield glass
is cracked. All of the other glass is in great condition, and the
windows roll up and down easily.
- Trunk: New oak wood bed hand built and in
beautiful shape. A steel bed can be purchased online for about
$3000 to make this a pickup-truck.
- Undercarriage: Blasted and painted the frame
rails and floor pans are all rust free and beautiful.
- Wheels/Tires: Late 40's model wheels have new
Firestone whitewalls. have the original hubcaps, but they do not
fit directly on these wheels (may need a clip or adapter?)
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: 239 V8 has low miles on the
rebuild. Not sure if it is original to the truck. It starts easily
and drives out much stronger than I expected. The transmission was
also rebuilt and shifts through all of the gears smoothly. This
truck steers straight and is a joy to drive!
- Lights/Electrical: All of the lights are
functional including the turn signals and brake lights.
- Brakes: Brakes are all new and stop straight
and strong.
This is a sharp truck that just needs a couple of finishing
