GTO Convertible for sale. The first Pontiac GTO was available as an
optional package for the, Pontiac Tempest and was available in
coupe, hardtop and convertible body styles. This GTO Convertible is
finished in Sierra Gold Metallic with a Black interior. This car is
powered by a Pontiac 455 that was borrowed from a 1971 GTO. The
motor was redone less than 3000 miles ago and a new 4 speed
transmission was installed at the same time. The Carburetors and
the intake manifold are from a 1965 GTO and have been re calibrated
for the larger 455 engine. The convertible top is in like new
condition. The interior is highlighted by the console, a floor
shifter and a cool wood steering wheel. Seats and dash are in great
shape with a three gauge pod mounted below the dash in the center.
The car has all the GTO badging and the chrome hood accents that
you would expect. A set of Pontiac Rally wheels and Daytona tires
are the perfect compliment for this very original looking 1964
