Corvette Convertible. This white on white top C3 Corvette has
purple accents with one large racing stripe down the middle and two
smaller purple stripes next to the large one. To complete the
exterior package the black and chrome wheels accent the side pipes
perfectly. The 327 V8 roars to life and spins the M20 4-speed
transmission. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and has
approximately 10,000 miles on the engine and 64,228 miles showing
on the odometer. The rear end is a 3.08 gear ratio. The interior of
this Corvette is black with red seats. 1968 was the first year for
the C3 Corvette. The third generation Corvette, patterned after the
Mako Shark II concept car, was introduced for the 1968 model year
and was in production until 1982. C3 coupes featured the first use
of T-top removable roof panels. It introduced monikers that were
later revived, such as LT-1, ZR-1, Z07 and Collector Edition. In
1978, the Corvette's 25th anniversary was celebrated with a
two-tone Silver Anniversary Edition and an Indy Pace Car replica
edition of the C3. This was also the first time that a Corvette was
