My longtime good neighbors Paul and Betty Sigmon have Had this Beautiful car since 1995 when they restored it.
Located in Aerial Acres California (desert southwest) Kern county. Paul and Betty are now selling this Classic Cadillac and have asked me to assist them with internet and arranging contact with interested buyers. Since restoration they have driven it to many local shows and Parades. Paul estimates between 5000-6000 miles on the car since restoration. Engine was restored and rebuilt at the same time. Original 365cid Cadillac V-8 with automatic. 79064 miles on odometer.
Being a Parade Car it does have Two Modifications - 1. An auxiliary radiator 2 an electric Fan on the original radiator. Also, being 22-23 years since it was restored, it is again showing signs of wear. Not a perfect car anymore, nevertheless very very pretty, very straight, smooth riding, quiet and according to Paul 98% complete. Examine all of the photos for wear and tear and other details.
Always parked in the shade (carport) or garaged, and never pressure washed. Being in the desert, the rust in minimal.
Starts runs and shifts very good, Looks gorgeous (the paint has never been polished)
Great Dash, and Chrome, Glass, Carpet, Guages, and the steering wheel is even better. Seat trim, and door panels very good.
Below is a list of defects, wear, and places that need repair or TLC that Paul wishes to make known to all interested parties.
Dash harness plug connection causes horns, dash lights to flicker or not operate.
Speedo needle waivers - odometer intermittent. Undercoat starting to peel, light rust spots Pictured, dings and scratches in paint and chrome Pictured. Chrome has fading in areas. Pictured. Lots of dust. The front seat bottoms need center seam restitched and two rubber interior trim pieces need to be located and installed.
Glass is really nice except the wind-wings show wear along the edges. The Spare tire shows wear . Headliner is really nice but has a Knick behind the driver's seat and needs a plastic dome lens on passenger side.
Also the air conditioning pump is removed .
