Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this sharp 1962 Ford F100
restomod. This beautiful red unibody pickup is set up to be a daily
driver with a modern Lincoln engine. The era of customers who want
something that looks bad to the bone and straight out of their
grandparent's memory book is at an all time high. However, to drive
these classics with new highway speeds and on an everyday basis
without issues arising you need some modern technology powering it.
This F100 has a 1998 Lincoln Mark 5- 4.6 Liter engine and automatic
transmission with overdrive. The whole powertrain was rebuilt and
installed about 15k miles ago. The front suspension is Lincoln and
the rear suspension is an adjustable air ride so if you pull
something this truck wont sag in the rear. The rear end Is a Ford
9" and geared at 3:70 and drives with ease at highway speeds, it
even has cruise control. This '62 is painted performance red and is
an actual Ford color from the factory. The bed cover that is
painted to match is electric and raises high for easy access inside
the bed. The rear lowering suspension, 18" American racing wheels,
and chrome bumpers/latches all make this truck have an aggressive
curb appeal. Opening the door, you instantly notice the gray vinyl
bench seat, painted red dash, and the A/C vents. This pickup has
tons of options to make it a comfortable drive like A/C, Heat,
cruise control, custom wheels, Bluetooth radio, Cd player, power
brakes and steering, tilt wheel, power windows, seat belts, and
even posi traction. The A/C compressor was recently installed and
the owner has receipts and documentation upon request. This truck
is reliable and even went on a power tour this year and completed
the whole trip without issues. This piece of Ford history is
perfect for cruising or even taking to car shows. To see 100+ HD
