1966 AC Cobra for sale in our Las Vegas showroom. AC Cars Ltd, a
British manufacturer, was contacted by Carroll Shelby in 1961 to
build a car modified to handle a V8 engine. The updated version of
the AC Ace platform arrived in Los Angeles, CA on February 2, 1962
and a legend was born. Given the racing history and limited
production of the originals, several kit reproductions have been
produced over the years. This shining example comes from Shell
Valley which has been making the Cobra kit cars for over 40 years.
This awesome 1998 edition is powered by a 289 cubic inch small
block V8 that is equipped with aluminum heads, solid roller cam,
and a Shelby Hi-Rise intake with a 750 Demon Carburetor. The motor
is backed by a 5 speed transmission and a 9 inch rear end with Posi
Traction. The Cobra is painted the famous Cobra Blue with White
racing stripes that brings back that traditional look. Options for
