1967 Ford Mustang Fastback GT K code ______________________________
-This car has had a complete rotisserie restoration. -The engine
has been professionally rebuilt by Leggett Engine Research. It has
had several modifications to increase horse-power. It has the
original 289 Hi-Po block and cylinder heads. The displacement is
now 302 cubic inches. A better cam shaft than the original, Comp
Cams, has been installed which has more lift and duration. -The
cylinder heads had a pro street valve job. The cylinder head ports
have been matched to the intake and exhaust. -The complete list of
replaced engine parts is as follows: -pistons and wrist pins -rings
-main, rod, and cam bearings -lifters -timing chain set -cam shaft
-oil pump and drive -full gasket set -double dowels -valve guides
-harden exhaust seats -intake valves -exhaust valves -valve springs
-valve locks -head freeze plugs -screw in studs -The car has been
media blasted. The rusted flooring was completely replaced with a
one-piece floor unit, and all other rusted areas were repaired or
replaced. The front frame rails and shock towers were also
replaced. The car was then painted original Ford Acapulco Blue base
coat clear coat PPG -4 speed manual transmission, close ratio
-sport deck rear seat -black standard bucket seats -Mustang styled
(re-issue of the original) steel wheels with BF Goodrich tires -New
chrome bumpers -New reproduction interior chrome trim parts.
-Kelsey-Hayes front disc brakes and drum rear brakes. -the electric
clock is original, and it is what makes this car one-of-a-kind, as
explained in the Marti report which will be included with the car.
