This sleek 1965 Chevrolet Corvair convertible, roll bar added, 4
single throat carburetors. The 2.7L flat-six was rebuilt in 2000
using .030 over forged and balanced pistons, an Isky 270 cam, heavy
duty valve springs, an aluminum oil pan, relocated carburetor jets,
and extended vents to prevent fuel starvation. The voltage
regulator and alternator were replaced more recently, an
aftermarket full-bearing throttle linkage was added, and an
aftermarket exhaust is currently on the car. The paint on the car
has some imperfections, otherwise a deep glossy black paint.
(Repainted in 1998) Kumho tires, optional 4 speed manual
transmission on the floor. Interior is in nice shape, back seat has
been reupholstered front seats look original. Dual exhaust and a
very straight bodied and sturdy car that makes for a great running
and driving car!
