Vehicle Description
Cool factor off the charts with this one! Garage Kept Motors is
pleased to offer this tastefully customized 1962 Lincoln
Continental Suicide 4-Door Sedan for consideration. This car is
owned by a local artist and car enthusiast who has gone through it
from top to bottom to make it awesome. Its so awesome that toy car
manufacturer, Candylab Toys, made a toy replica car based on this
vehicle. They even rolled out a promotional video on it - ask us
for the link and we'll send it over. The toy car is cool, but the
real version is much more fun to drive.
The car is finished in the original white paint over a
reupholstered Black interior with square stitched seats. The color
combo and finish is perfect for this "suicide slab." Under the
hood, you'll find a completely overhauled 468ci/410hp V8 with Fast
EZ-EFI 2.0 system, professionally rebuilt and installed by More
Power, Inc of Sparta, Michigan. Other additions include iconic
Detroit Steel Wheels, Accuair E-Level air ride suspension, Ford AOD
transmission, Mobsteel A-Arms, custom exhaust, tall shifter, and a
Ford 9-inch 3.73 rear end. It also has power steering, power
brakes, power windows, power seats, and disc brakes all around.
The car starts, runs, and drives effortlessly. It turns heads
wherever driven and has enough seating for 6 if you like. There was
no expense spared in the build and you can tell behind the wheel.
These cars, suicide door sedans, are becoming increasingly hard to
find, especially when built to perform like this one. Candylab
thought it was cool enough to make a toy out of it, and you could
own the inspiration. Only one like it. Be sure to check out all the
photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if
interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you for looking.
