The Duke boys had no idea what they were starting when they began destroying painted up Dodge Chargers in their sit-com Dukes of Hazzard. Powered by the already powerful 440cid V8, this one has been bored .030 over and is backed up by a Torqueflite 3 speed transmission. The pedigree for this powertrain reads like the who's who of muscle cars....Keith Black Pistons.... Ported and polished heads....Competition Cam....Roller Rockers....Holly 750 Carburetor on an Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold....Summit Racing High Output Alternator....Racing Fuel Pump....Hi Flow Water Pump....Hedman Headers W/ Flowmaster Super 44 Series Mufflers and a custom built High Flow Aluminum Radiator. The suspension has been rebuilt with new shocks, sway bars and bushings, steering box and brake system. It a all rolls on 10 spoke American Racing Vector Wheels and new tires. The bucket seat w/console interior is done in two-tone saddle, has a Pioneer sound system, a period necessity CB radio and a reproduction roll bar. Outside it sports the bright Hemi Orange paint with the General Lee decals that have been cleared into the finish, a 12 note Dixie horn and a replica wide front push bar. This reproduction General Lee Charger is a fine example of a classic muscle car professionally finished to handle the power, handing and includes all the intricate details to make this fine modern car work as it should.
