Arguably one of the most famous sports cars ever made, the Porsche
911 has been in uninterrupted production since 1963 and is
currently one of the most advanced and well engineered cars out
there. With a rear mounted, air-cooled, horizontally opposed
engine, they were far from conventional but gained popularity like
nothing else. Some of most well regarded and affordable air cooled
models were the 1980s models. They offered reasonable performance,
good reliability, and were sold in large numbers.

Carrera Targa for your consideration. The traditional Guards Red
paint is a favorite and an eye catcher. Paint has good shine and
the plastic and rubber trim is in very good shape as well. The body
is straight and free of imperfections, and the classic black Fuch
wheels look great. The black Targa top fits well and remains in
excellent condition. The interior is black and and features a clean
dashboard and leather seats remain overall excellent with some very
minor expected wear. The instrumentation is excellent and all of
the features appear to work well. Car has power windows, power
seats, stereo, power disc brakes, power locks and factory Blaupunkt
Reno radio. Other Factory options included Locking differential, 16
inch Fuchs alloy wheels, automatic speed control, front and rear
spoiler, and Porsche alarm.
Mechanically, the car features Porsche's legendary 3.2 liter air
cooled engine mated to the desirable G50 5 speed gearbox from
Getraf. The car is a fantastic driver masterfully connecting car to
driver with the driving experience that is privy to the Marquee.
The car was serviced this spring with new v-belts, oil service,
full vehicle inspection and a fuel relay replacement. Car comes
complete with owners manual maintenance book in the original
portfolio, both option stickers, some service history and air
compressor.
