Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1974 MG MGBGT. This BGT is
finished in Red Rock Crystal over tan leather. It was cosmetically
restored to a high standard in 2008 - an accompanying photo album
shows that it was a very original car with very little rust before
it was repainted and the interior retrimmed.
Paint, body, trim, glass and seals all remain in excellent
condition. The interior was finished to a standard much higher than
when it left the factory with leather upholstery, beautiful door
cards, a suede headliner and a high-quality carpet kit.
Mechanical improvements include a Weber carburetor, headers and
sport exhaust. This example is also fitted with desirable overdrive
making it a long-legged highway cruiser. The 14-inch Minilite-style
wheels are wearing newer Bridgestone tires. The suspension and
steering feel fresh and tight and the overall package feels
well-sorted. The spare and jack are are in the boot and several
spare / original parts and a fitted cover are included.
