This car is in very good condition. It is among the last of the chrome bumper cars and has no overt smog devices. It is a California car that spent only a few months of its life in Arizona. I have had Alfas on and off for over 40 years and purchased this one in 2015 from a dealer in Phoenix. The odometer showed 39,822 miles. Based on the engine and transmission (and my experience with other Alfas), I believe that this is accurate but of course have no way of verifying. During the last 3 years, I have replaced the following: new Robbins top; new seat cushions and upholstery; new brake master and clutch master and slave cylinders; new window guides and rubber; all new weather stripping and door seals; all new tune up parts; new radiator fan, hoses and belt; new fuel tank level sender; new ignition wires; refurbished valve cover and gasket; many new badges and other trim pieces; and new carpet floor mats. I refurbished and painted all 5 Campagnolo wheels and gave them new center badges. The car has an original tool kit, jack, owner’s manual, and top boot and all of the original rubber mats are in almost perfect shape. I have had the car, including the engine compartment, fully detailed. The car, which now has only 41,900 miles on the odometer, starts right up and runs great. It even has a number of the original stickers attached. The paint is in good shape but not show quality. There is no rocker panel or other discernable rust. Bottom line, it is a great car which I am selling only because I found an old Ferrari to work on and no more room in my garage. If I could, I would build a bigger garage and never part with this spider.
