We Offer Financing
Teen Idol, Ricky Nelson sold millions of records including 9 gold records. He has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. His life was cut short in an airplane crash in 1985. This was his personal car.
Ricky Nelson purchased his Mustang convertible in June of 1984. Rick’s use of the Mustang is evidenced by a trail of lyrics written for him and a letter from his arranger: Jimmie Haskel, dated August 9, 1985 . In that letter Jimmie said “I hope the plane is permanently repaired now!” Ricky died in a plane crash on New Year’s Eve 1985. This car was featured in an article in the August 1990 issue of Mustang Illustrated magazine.
This car has been well maintained over the years. Everything is mostly original except the radio. It is powered by a 3.8 liter V6. The body is dent free.
The car has been on display in the California Automobile Museum for the past ten years and is now available for sale.
