Reported to be a two owner car, Our matching number 1952 MG TD was owned by the second owner since 1973. The second owner and his wife enjoyed the car on many long trips with the local MG club. The car is incredible. No rust, No wood rot, No door sags. The Ivory lacquer paintwork does show checking. To us it adds to the romance of this car.
The car starts and runs like a new car. Oil pressure is correct cold and hot. The car runs at the correct temperature, The clutch grabs nicely with no slipping. The non synchro 4 speed transmission shifts well, The rear differential is quiet. Brakes operate as they should. All lights and gauges operate properly.
These cars are simple to operate and maintain. The MGTD will perform on today's modern roads and reward its owner with trouble free motoring.

A new top and side curtains were installed in 1973. A new vinyl interior was also fitted. Although not the original color the contrast is striking and the quality is top tier.
