This rare two owner Euro spec Quattrovalvole was originally sold in Geneva, Switzerland in 1985 and then imported soon after to the United States on April 29th 1985 with 229 km's. At the time of import the ODO was turned back to 0 (documented) to make the total original miles 13,262. The car has been in a collection and sparingly driven since new. The exterior shows extremely well with no dents or damage retaining almost all of its original paint, the front and rear lower valances have been painted and matches very well.
The interior is in almost showroom condition and has never been redyed. No damage to the leather is present and the red color is as vibrant as ever. All the gauges read as the should, all switches function, and AC/Heat blows strong. The Targa top fits well showing no damage and the red/white tweed is clean and in great condition. The zippered trunk cover is in perfect condition with no pulling or damage.
The engine bay is clean and tidy showing no leaks or damage. Andy at FMS Ferrari just did a full service including camshaft and drive belts, tensioner bearings, water pump gasket, full fluid flush, thermostat and seal, cam cover gaskets/cam seals, oil sump gasket, trans sump gasket, shift shaft seals, new coolant hoses, airbox hose, new plugs, new fuel lines, new brake pads, rebuilt brake calipers, new sway bar bushings, and much more totaling $6,800. Oil pressure and the temp stays consistent and reads correctly. A full original tool kit is included with the car as well as the owner's manuals and warranty book with service tabs intact. All original tires are in good condition but should be changed if it is driven regularly.
