Vehicle Description
Quite accurate, very loaded, and absolutely powerful, this 1971
Chevrolet Nova SS Yenko Tribute is a terrific all-around package.
So you can show off big block power with the upgraded five-speed
all from the comfort of an A/C interior.
The appeal of this coupe is black and white, literally. The slick
black paint is a modern application done over terrific panels, so
it has the kind of shine that highlights all the best parts of this
Nova. That means you easily see the aggressive front overhand,
upgraded cowl hood, and subtle flying buttress in the rear. And
this black is the perfect backdrop to highlight the full Yenko
white striping package and all the correct badging. So you know
people can see this is a tribute to Chevy's best performance dealer
from blocks away! Top it all off with the right bright work pieces,
like the mirror-like bumpers and the polished outer lip of the mean
American Racing Torq Thrust wheel, and you have a slick and
aggressive total package.
Inside, the black interior continues the muscle car appeal. You
even get the correct Yenko headrests. But this one deviates a bit
from the full Yenko program, and that's also why you'll absolutely
love it. After all, the originals were kinda stripped of features,
but this one doesn't skip out on the upgrades. Bucket seats,
wood-like trim, and an AM/FM/CD stereo make this a nice place to
spend some time. You even have cold-blowing air conditioning to
keep you comfortable. But don't mistake this for a coddler. The
three-spoke Chevy sports steering wheel and column-mounted tach
will remind you this is a performance machine. And have you counted
the gears on the stick shift yet?
A good Yenko car means a great big block under the hood, and this
one doesn't disappoint. You have a 396 cubic-inch V8 filling
in-between the fender walls. It has a very clean-n-mean
presentation with the bright air topper and valve covers radiating
from within the dark engine bay. And as you dig deeper, you see
your favorite go-fast goodies, like a Holley double-pumper
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and
aluminum heads. And take some time with the details, because they
added the right feature, like an electric fuel pump and an aluminum
radiator with dual electric fans (it helps keep the car cool even
if you're in traffic with the A/C pumping.) This full performance
package feeds a dual exhaust with race mufflers to truly announce
its power. You get the best control over this monster motor and its
thunderous soundtrack thanks to the upgrade to a five-speed manual
transmission. Plus, the power steering, front disc brakes, and wide
BF Goodrich tires are welcomed features no matter if you're
cruising the boulevard or making your mark on the asphalt.
This is the Yenko tribute that delivers the correct performance and
gives you all the best comforts. A total package like this is
likely not going to stick around very long, so don't miss out. Call
