1979 Ford F150 Ranger 4wd Four Wheeler Magazine Feature Truck
This 1979 Ford F150 XLT Ranger was a total Frame Off Restoration and custom lifted suspension with every part on it painted, chromed, performance enhanced, or rebuilt! This truck looks awesome!
It was used mostly to drive to Truck Shows since it was completed and everything was new at the time it was restored.
The paint looks fantastic!! The body is extremely straight and a lot of time was spent on the paint to make this truck look the way it does.
The Interior is all custom and is also excellent and was restored as well. Check out the custom door panels, roof liner, dash and the grey tweed bench seat. It has a Hurst Floor Shifter as well as all the interior painted to match the truck.
The Drivetrain on this truck is Rock Solid! The engine is a rebuilt performance 351M V8 with Ford Motorsports Polished Valve Covers, heavy Duty radiator, performance Ignition, headers, performance spark plug wires, and much more that sits in a detailed and painted clean engine compartment. It runs excellent with it’s Hurst shifted automatic transmission!
It has a Lift Kit with dual rear performance shocks, performance front shocks, and to much else to list here. Tires are 19.5/44 inch aggressive Gumbo Monster Mudders on polished mag wheels, with great sounding exhaust complimenting the whole package.
The paint on this beauty is a custom blend of taste-full subtle Salmon color with green accents to match the suspension pieces. It also features a polished sun-visor, chrome front and rear tube bumpers, chrome trim and grill, and chrome wheel well moldings. Don’t forget to look at the painted bed-liner with rubber floor mat and polished truck bed handles as well as lower chrome body trim.
All of the lights, blinkers, wipers and gages are working. A Great running and driving truck!! And as we said earlier, this Truck was a Four Wheeler Magazine Feature Article Truck!
