Vehicle Description
It is hard to find a car as exceptionally rare as this 1961 Chevy
Impala SS convertible, especially since 1961 was the first year
Chevrolet offered an SS package. With only 453 SS Impalas built in
1961, 142 of them were 409's and just a handful were convertibles.
When you throw in the believed-to-be factory 348 Tri-Power and all
those good ol' SS extras, you get the top of the line for class and
refinement in 1961. 4 speed manual transmission, power steering, a
power convertible top, the SS correct SUN tach & control box, dash
grab bar, dual antennas, front & rear bumper guards, and fender
skirts are all factory options for the car, and a few are SS
exclusive options as well. Restored to its original paint colors of
Ermine White with the red stripe down the sides and the correct
trim of red and white vinyl bench seats. This car is a true piece
of history and a collector's dream, so come check it out or give us
a call today and make this beautiful and rare classic yours
