1955 OLDSMOBILE SUPER 88 In 1955 the Olds Super 88 was the Top of
the Line offering just below the Olds 98 and is a highly desirable
car considered a somewhat sedate classic. Well not this
restoration, not an ordinary SUPER 88, this vehicle has new life
breathed into it with a modern,powerful "big block" 403 cu.in. V8
and an Edelbrock carb and powering through a new GM YH350 3-speed
automatic transmission . NO LONGER SEDATE ! The EXTERIOR
restoration is in an attractive blue/white two tone style paint.
The chrome is in excellent shape, which is important on the mid-50s
GM as the cars relied heavily on brightwork to enhance styling. No
rust at all. The INTERIOR also was redone in complimentary grey
cloth seats, light/dark gray door panels and new gray rugs and
