For Sale: 1963 Plymouth Fury in Elyria, Ohio

Vehicle Description

Sunnyside Chevrolet of Elyria, Ohio in conjunction with Greg's Sports, Classic, & Muscle is proud to offer for sale this beautiful 1963 Plymouth Fury Max Wedge clone.Yep, let's get it over with straight away this is a clone- come-on we all know if it was real it would be 80K plus.... But man take a look at the value in this great build. Matching the 1963 Golden Commando S/S A factory race car the Dupont basecoat clearcoat gold paint on this car is stunning. Restoration started in 2004 and with an ownership change and life happening in the middle it was finally completed in July 2018.We recently purchased this car locally from a gentleman we've had the privilege of knowing and doing business with in the past- he owns great cars and is a gentleman in the truest form of the word- just the kind of people we love to do business with. He was a fanatic about the quality in this car- this Fury has the nicest interior of any car we've ever had here- Period. No detail was overlooked- top quality carpet and fabrics- Yep. All gauges and chrome trim redone- Yep. Beautiful dash, headliner and surrounding area- Yep. It was so important for this car to be done right that when door panels to his liking were not available he had them custom made at SMS Interiors of Oregon. It's all stunning.Ok let's talk about the GO part- the 440 was built by the renowned Mopar Builder Teachers Pet out of Connecticut. This was done before our seller acquired the car mid-way through restoration. Engine is estimated to make 500 Horses and runs on 93 Octane. Nothing but the very best components here including the Max wedge Manifold and two 625 CFM Edelbrock carbs with K&N filters on top. The aluminum radiator has a thermostatically controlled fan. Power is transferred through a push button Torque Flight 727 manual valve body with a 2800 dynamic stall converter built by Cope Transmission. The rear is an 8 3/4 sure grip with 355 gears. This is a motivated machine.Keystone wheels and tires put the rubber down and have less than a couple of hundred miles on them. They really give this car a wonderful period look. All chrome, trim and other details are done to a very high level. Come see this car and we are sure you will find no disappointments.Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours. We stand behind our thoughts on this car by offering our travel expenses guarantee- come see the car and if we have materially misrepresented its condition we will gladly pay half of your travel expenses up to $500.00- this offer had been in place since we sold our first classic and we haven't paid the money yet.... We pride ourselves on having good cars and representing them properly.Additional pictures and video are available, please call 440-365-7311 for more photos, information or to schedule a test drive.
