The 7th of only 13 built, this exceptionally elegant example is
finished Silver Pearl with Stratos hides piped Slate and nicely
optioned with particularly beautiful walnut veneers, extra cost
optional chrome wheels, wrapover waistrails with stainless steel
Black enamel Flying B logo inserts, twin Bentley umbrellas to the
trunk, chrome instrument bezels and embroidered marque emblems to
the headrests. It has has happily never suffered damage or abuse
since its delivery to Southern California 15,970 miles ago.
In our opinion, it is in every respect as close to new as anyone
could reasonably expect a seventeen year old car to be. As per our
policies, it has been carefully serviced and prepared for the
enjoyment of its next keeper. The tires shown in the photos are
original and should be replaced. We will be happy to provide our
recommendations.
By 2001, the Mulliner package included increased horsepower output,
widened stance and Mulliner tuned suspension for enhanced handling,
drilled alloy brake and gas pedals and Mulliner badging. These
special factory hot rods managed the difficult combination of
sophistication and remarkable performance in a manner unrivaled by
few if any automobiles since.
The limited series of large high speed touring Coupes produced by
the company 2001-2003 are regarded by many enthusiasts (including
ourselves) as perhaps the finest Bentleys ever built, the last
modern day classics before the management changeover to more
numerous automated mass produced automobiles.
