Vehicle Description
This gorgeous, black 1956 Mercury Monterey cruiser has very clean
lines and clean interior. The pin striping on the trunk and hood
add to both its character and to its appeal, by adding that extra
touch of flair it is now quite the unique ride; plus having the
Lincoln style door handles, it's lines are even smoother. 2 doors
and a maroon/white interior, this car is sure to turn heads on the
road and at the roll-in. If you still have questions, email or call

The Marquis-Monterey body was built on a longer wheelbase and had a
longer body than the Ford LTD, Ford Galaxie, and Ford Custom.
During its production the Monterey served as the high-end,
mid-range, and entry-level full-size Mercury at various times
throughout its run. This 1956 model, along with the rest of Ford,
Mercury cars started to sport the Lifeguard safety equipment. The
deep-dish steering wheel and safety door locks were standard.
