Vehicle Description
This beauty was bought brand new as a present to the first owner's
wife on December 19, 1967 in Syracuse, New York. The car changed
hands in 1969 with a mere 200 miles on it, kept as a "Sunday
Driver" until January 1983. From '69 to '83 this Caddy was always
garage kept, never allowed to be driven in rain or snow. Showing a
mere 26,040 on the odometer, the firemist paint gleaming, the
chrome brilliant, and the leather on the driver's seat still
supple. The third owner flew in and purchased the car on January
21, 1983, and drove it 800 miles home to Joliet, IL. There, the car
remained in his private collection, undergoing a restoration in
1995, and remaining is his care until 2012 when ShowYourAuto first
took it into consignment. The car was kept in a climate-controlled
environment and regularly serviced during his ownership. The car
comes with extensive documentation, previous owner history, as well
as service and restoration receipts. There also is a handsome
compliment spares that can be sold along with, or separately from
the vehicle.
SYA sold the car to the current owner who has cared for it in the
same manner as the car lived its entire life, garaged and well
maintained. The extent of the driving has been limited to show and
shines and parade duty for the last six years. Now, it is time for
the next caretaker.
