This 1971 Chevy K10 has had a complete frame off rotisserie restoration that was just finished last year. Besides some test miles, it’s as fresh as can be and ready for your collection!
The engine is 400 CI small block that is .30 over and is right at 10:1 compression. The motor uses Sealed Power Piston and Sealed Power rings, a Comp Cam, Clevite rods/mains. Air and fuel mix in the Quick Fuel carb and flow down through the Air Gap intake. The motor exhales through a set of coated Hedman headers and out the back through a 3” exhaust system. Keeping the motor cool is a large capacity aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.
The truck rides on Fuel wheel with Nitto tires. It’s a breeze to drive with power steering and power front disc brakes and Bilstein shocks all the way around provide for a nice ride. The truck has 4.10 gear with a 10 bolt up front and a 12 bolt Posi in the rear.
During the restoration, the body of the truck was taken down to bare metal. Now, both body and bedsides of the truck have excellent, very straight bodywork. The hood and doors fit very well, and unlike many C10 trucks, the doors actually close properly. On top of the bodywork is a high-quality base/clear paint job that has been color sanded and buffed to a mirror shine. All of the stainless and chrome has been replaced, and the glass is in excellent condition. You’ll find the undercarriage to be as nice as the top of the truck with a refinished frame and all new stainless hardware.
The interior is new from top to bottom including all new soft parts, brand new reproduction gauges, and an ice cold AC system. The truck has a new Auto Wire harness, JL Audio speakers, and a Kenwood head unit.
