Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer this rare and fully-restored
1982 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler 4x4 Pickup originally from Idaho. This is a
custom, frame-off restoration with less than 77k original miles.
Only 7,759 Scrambler Pickups were built in 1982, making this Jeep
extremely desirable. With tens of thousands of dollars spent on the
restoration, this truck is one of the cleanest, if not the
cleanest, Scrambler you will find on the market.
The truck is finished in beautiful Red paint with new factory
original Scrambler decals over a new black interior. It is powered
by the rebuilt factory original "C" code 258ci Inline 6-Cylinder
motor with original intake manifold, original valve cover, original
exhaust manifold, original rebuilt carburetor, original air cleaner
housing, etc. The transmission is the optional code "5" 5-Speed
Manual transmission that was rebuilt during the restoration and
shifts like butter. It has the bulletproof, rebuilt Dana 300
transfer case mated to an AMC model 20-rear axle and a Dana 30
front axle. Other features include factory power steering, factory
power brakes with front discs, factory warn 12,000 lb. winch,
factory seat belts, Pioneer digital AM/FM/CD player stereo radio.
It also has custom Weld Racing aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in
newer Wild Country Radials.
Every attention to detail has been thoroughly sorted out. The truck
runs, drives, and shifts better than new. Be sure to check out all
the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call
if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you for
looking.
